The Manor House

The Original Farmhouse – THE MANOR – was recently affectionately renovated taking special care to re-capture its original Victorian heritage, an era of Architecture dating between 1850-1910.

The MANOR HOUSE offers our 12 guests total comfort, style and luxury. Furnished eclectically, mixing modern oak with some antiques reflecting the Victorian and later Dutch Heritage of the farm. The most important parameter with the renewal, was taking care of the comfort of our guests incorporating many details to make your stay unforgettable.

The Kitchen

(& most importantly the FOOD)

The Kitchen is extensively equipped with every kitchen gadget you may need to prepare a sumptuous feast yourself.
However if cooking is not your thing, leave it to us. Provide us with your most loved meals and our chef will prepare your food ahead of time*.
All you need to do is to heat and eat – so much more fun!

Even though our Chef is outsourced, we share a passion for promoting fresh, local and seasonal produce some of which comes
from our own Kitchen herb garden and Orchard! We would love your input to create a custom made menu around your
favourite flavours and vision for your event. Our Garden Room terrace features a
large pizza oven and BBQ where a variety of pizzas can be created.

The Bridal-Bedroom ensuite

has a wonderful oval feature bath. All bathrooms have quality fittings and finishes and offer complimentary Fynbos amenities. Each bathroom is also equipped with a selection of soft, fluffy towels as well as our cozy, white robes. The utmost of care is taken to make our bedrooms special with naturally fragranced soy-candles, and fynbos scented linen and bathroom amenities.

To keep you comfortable during the hot summer months, all bedrooms are equipped with Air-conditioning powered by a sustainable off the grid solar energy supply. During the winter we light the two closed-combustion fires – one in the large and cozy lounge and the other situated in the dining area allowing you extended, comfortable mealtimes with your loved ones.

For outdoor entertainment our guests are spoilt for choice – you have free access to the tennis court, wood-fueled hot tub, manicured lawns and outdoor dining and Gazebo Terrace-lounge.

The MANOR HOUSE Bedrooms

The MANOR HOUSE is surrounded by beautiful gardens and terraces, a sparkling swimming pool, tennis court and an extensive patio overlooking the almond groves and red stone mountains.

The accommodation comprises six luxuriously appointed ensuite bedrooms, (sleeps 12 people) with two Super King & four Super Queen beds. The beds have comfortable pillow top mattresses. They feature fluffy down duvets and are dressed in the finest 400-thread cotton bed linen.

For your comfort and convenience each bedroom, within The MANOR HOUSE, has bedside tables and reading lamps, a snug under-foot-rug, T.V, built in cupboard and hangers, extensive tea/coffee trays, under counter fridge, kettle, hairdryer and additional seat. The bedrooms all have their own spacious ensuite shower room with heated towel rail and large well lit mirror.
