What an amazing house to escape to for a gloriously relaxing holiday. The setting is a real treat for the eyes, with views stretching across the adjacent dam, over the farm’s almond groves and looking across the imposing red rocks of the valley. Mulberry House itself is beautifully appointed, with incredible attention to style and detail. Everything in the house is high quality: from the high thread count linen, the large, soft bath towels, to the Brabantia pots in the kitchen. The kitchen and living area, which flows through to the outside braai and covered verandah, is designed for easy self-catering. A very large scullery, with a dishwasher and washing machine, was handy for keeping things neat and tidy. The outside loungers and dining space were very comfortable and elegant and we enjoyed the hot tub which doubled as a splash pool in the day. We loved this house and can’t wait to return.
